1. Be tactful – When approaching someone who has any health problems. We should find out what interests them or what their hobbies are. When you know what they are, we should talk more about it so the people would be happy with you.We can also introduce some new games that you play so you can play with the other person.

2.Bite your tongue – Mind what you say because in Internet, everything you type and send will eventually reach someone. You should think twice before typing any unnecessary rubbish because, in the future, you might regret sending the text to the person. Results if you send any text which has bad words in it is , if you are sending it to a friend, he/she might not want to be your friend anymore.

3. Don’t use all uppercase – Using all uppercase on the Internet is considered rude. It will also make the person you are sending the mail to think you are angry at him/her. We should always use lower case. But, of course you can use capital letters at the start of a sentence.

4. Mind your language – We must always remember that internet is a public service. We should always think twice before sending mail. When typing a new mail, we should always look for anything that you think is unnecessary and delete it from the mail. We must always need to check before sending a mail.

5. Watch your words – We should not use any bad words online. If you are messaging to a family member or a friend who doesn’t mind you using this language, you should still be careful as you might have typed the wrong email address.

6.Respect Confidentially – Do not post any e-mail you have received without the person you has sent you the e-mail.Do not reply to e-mails from people you don’t know.If you ever receive mail from someone you don’t know, just delete it. We must always respect other peoples privacy.

7. Don’t Be A Grammar Pedant – Don’t mind your grammar too much. Well, of course you have to mind your grammar while English class but otherwise,we should not. Everyone makes grammartical errors. Eventhough they make these error, we don’t need to correct them. If you don’t understand anything someone says, we should just ask the person to repeat the sentence to see if theres any mistakes or just ask him/her to explain clearly.

8. Keep it simple – Use simple English. If you use advanced English, some people might not understand and get confused. Don’t make your e-mails to long.3 – 5 lines should be enough. Don’t use too many smileys. If you understand smileys, that doesn’t mean everybody understands it. Some people like people who are new to chatting on Internet will not understand what you are saying.

9. Use Plain Text – Although some e-mail programs have HTML, we should not use them because some people won’t understand it. We should always use simple and plain text. By donig this, other people will be able to understand what you have typed clearly.If you see anyone using HTML and you don’t understand, just tell the person to always use simple and plain text.

10 Warn if You Might Spoil A Surprise – Warn people if you might spoil a surprise. Do not just type what ever you want because you might spoil a surprise. If you think what you want to type will spoil a surprise or if aren’t confident, we should not type it. Some people will get angry with you. Some people will just be angry but other people they will get furious.

COMPUTER MID-YEAR EXAMANATION

I will be having my Mid-Year Exam soon. It is on the 21st of June which is on a Thursday. It will start at 11.35 am . It will end at 12.35 pm. We have 1 hour to finish our exam. In that 1 hour, we must do a theory exam and a practical exam. For each of these exams we have half an hour to finish it. The topics covered in the exam will be E-mail and Blogs. I can go on my teacher’s blog to read some notes about the the topics covered. GOOD LUCK !!
